Are they truly the better fit, most fun to work for or perhaps the quickest way to gain a successful career? One of the reasons is because they have wisely positioned their employer brand in a way that makes people think of them as a top employer of choice.

From a young age, I was always curious what my future life would uphold. Would I go work for Netflix, Nike or KLM after I graduate?
I barely knew anything about these large company's from an employer perspective.
I felt drawn to their moving commercials, global reach and the idea to work
anywhere in the world. 

I kept wondering how my life would end up If I started working for these company’s.
Who will be the co-workers who'll work with me side by side? What type of inspiring workplace will we be surrounded by? What will my future growth path uphold? What will my daily (work)life truly look like?

I would go through long draining texts about the responsibilities, tasks and requirements. Somewhere between ‘a dynamic work environment' and a market conform salary - I lost my aspiration to work for these companies. On top of that, I still didn’t 
have any idea what my (work)life would look like within these organizations.

I realized later on - I was imposed by their consumer brands.
I allowed my own ideas and interpretations of these corporations predominate the vision for my career. Rather than taking the actual work experience into account within these company's. I began to notice that the right matches between candidates and companies had less to do with company sizes or household names. More so with setting the right expectation and needs being met (on both sides).

Newly Brands is founded to help start & scale ups tell their story to attract their ideal candidate, by the use of video content and social media. To envision the  work experience - by showing an authentic reflection of the people, workplace, daily activities and growth path. At the same time, helping millennials build the life they have envisioned for their future self and achieve their work-life goals.
